This year our basketball community ushers in a new era with great things on the horizon. With support from the Hobson’s Bay Council, Altona Sports Centre is undergoing an expansion with the construction of 4 new courts and ancillary facilities. We welcome a new Stadium Manager, Lucas Wintels, who is committed to lifting the profile of Altona Sports Centre. We are excited to announce that ABBA and Altona Gators are working together to upgrade systems, communications and procedures. Gators Director of Coaching, Randy Shanklin, has remodelled the the Senior Gators program. Lanard Copeland (Senior Men) and Sedale Threatt Jr (Youth League Men) have been appointed as new Head Coaches.
