ABBA moved into its permanent home, "The Swamp", at Altona Sports Centre.

GATORS MOVE INTO THE BIG LEAGUES
In 2003 Altona re-entered the Senior Competition then known as VBL with 2 teams Senior Men’s and Women. Over the next five seasons the Gators had experienced considerable growth and success in both the Senior and Junior programs. In the first 6 Seasons our Senior Men have competed in 5 Finals series and a number of Junior Girls and Boys teams have won VJBL Championships.

MORE COURTS
The Altona Sports Centre completed the building of 2 additional courts in 2008 taking the stadium to 6 courts, 2 courts with seating for approximately 300 +spectators. This expansion was the catalyst to bring the Association to its present-day numbers of 11 domestic clubs, 400+ teams and 3500+ members. In preparing for the future the Stadium is currently undergoing another 4 court expansion which is scheduled to be completed in by the beginning of 2021.
